Mr. Francesco Ciucci is professor at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering & Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Invited by Associate Prof. Yang Fusheng of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, he visited our college from May 28th to 30th by and brought a wonderful academic report to some teachers and students.
Prof. Ciucci's gave two reports, and they are "Perovskites and Antiperovskites for Fuel Cells, Oxygen and Hydrogen Evolution, Oxygen Reduction, and Lithium Conductors" and "Statistical Modelling and Analysis of Data Obtained from Electrochemical Experiments". Prof. Ciucci vividly introduced the research results of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in related fields. Subsequently, Prof. Ciucci and the field teachers and students had a intense discussion on the relevant issues in the report.
This academic reports and discussion exchanges not only broadened the vision of teachers and students, but also enhanced the mutual friendship. It also laid a good foundation for further academic exchanges between our institute and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
