In 2017, undergraduate and graduate employment rates both reached 100%.

In the past two decades, the research direction and characteristics of the school have gradually formed: (1) Energy and chemical process system integration and emission control. This direction is aimed at the theoretical and applied research on chemical energy reservation and chemical process integration of industrial process ecologicalization, water system integration, energy system integration and hydrogen system integration, and it is in a leading position in China; (2) Strengthening and amplifying energy chemical processes. This direction is devoted to the coupling technology of supercritical fluid process, reaction and separation, also including the synergy of external field, and the basic applications and engineering amplification research of process strengthening technology such as unconventional medium and heat and mass transfer in energy production. Focusing on major issues and real needs in the field of energy and chemical industry, promoting the application of process enhancement and amplification technology in the field of energy and chemical industry; (3) Green transformation of coal-oil-gas-salt resources. This direction applies various new types of catalytic reaction and separation technologies in petrochemical, natural gas chemical, salt chemical and coal chemical industry, providing basic theoretical support and demonstration of engineering applications; (4) long-term safe operation of energy chemical systems and equipment . A large number of applied basic research and application research have been carried out in this direction, which provides theoretical and technical support for the safe and reliable operation of process equipment. (5) Efficient chemical process machinery and equipment technology.
