Elena F. Bykovskaya graduated from the Novosibirsk State Education University, Novosibirsk, Russia, Department of Mathematics in 1993 and received the Ph.D. degree from the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Novosibirsk, Russia, Department of Philosophy in 2002. In 1998-2007 Elena Bykovskaya worked at the Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences (IT SB RAS), Department of Scientific-Management. In 2007-2010, she worked at Research Administration Department of the Presidium of SB RAS. Since 2011, Dr. Bykovskaya is working at the Laboratory of Enhancement of Heat Transfer of IT SB RAS as a researcher and an Assistant of the Head of Laboratory. In 2003-2010 Elena F. Bykovskaya had a part time position as Associate Professor in the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture. Her current research interests include: cooling of microelectronics, physics of fluids in microgravity and hyporgravity, drop spreading and drop evaporation, philosophy of education. From March 2010 until November 2011 Dr. Bykovskaya had a Post-Doctoral Researcher position at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium) at Microgravity Research Center (MRC). At the MRC she was participated in the preparation of two parabolic flights experiments supported by the European Space Agency. In addition, she worked on the project of Office of Naval Research (US), Cooling Technique Based on Evaporation of Thin and Ultra-Thin Liquid Films“. Dr. Bykovskaya has authored one monograph, authored and coauthored 45 papers in referred journals and conference proceedings, 7 patents. In 2002 - 2010, she was an Assistant of Editor in Chief of the Journal «The Academy of Ideas». Since 2013 Elena F. Bykovskaya is serving as Editor Assistant of the International Journal “Interfacial Phenomena and Heat Transfer”, published by Begell House Inc. (New York, US).
