On the evening of May 9, the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology carried out a central group learning activity in the 504 conference room of the office building. The theme of this center group study was to seriously study the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi at the 200th anniversary of the birth of Marx. They also studied a circular on several cases of violations of the central eight provisions issued by the school’s disciplinary committee. The meeting was presided over by the Party Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhang Zaoxiao, and the members of the College Center Group attended it.
Zhang Zaoxiao first led everyone to learn the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi on the 200th anniversary of Marx’s birth on May 4th. The content of the study included the life of Marx, the emergence of Marxist theory, and the far-reaching influence of Marxism. Zhang Zaoxiao asked the members of the central group to consciously strengthen the study of Marxist theory, and combine learning and practice to seek ideas for the development of the college and promote development.
Then, all the members carefully studied the case reports issued by the Disciplinary Committee in violation of the spirit of the eight central regulations, and read the issues involved in each case one by one.
Dean Wei Jinjia suggested that studying these cases is a good inspiration for us to do a good job in the party's work style and clean government construction. Some of the problems involved in these cases seem to be small, but they have violated the spirit of the central eight regulations.
Participants also discussed the experience of studying these cases. Through discussion, they reached a consensus on further building the party's work style and clean government, and strictly implementing the spirit of the eight central regulations.
