Professor W.S. Winston Ho, a world-renowned membrane technology expert and academician of the American Academy of Engineering, visited the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology and gave a wonderful academic report.

From April 20th to April 22nd, Prof. W.S. Winston Ho visited the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology and gave a wonderful academic report. He is a world-renowned membrane technology expert, an academician of the American Academy of Engineering and a professor at the Ohio State University.

Prof. W.S. Winston Ho gave a report entitled “New Amine-Based Membranes for CO2 Capture” to the teachers and students of SCET. It described the development of gas membrane separation technology and the research progress of carbon dioxide membrane separation technology in the United States.

After the speech, Prof. W.S. Winston Ho talked with some teachers and students, and answered the questions about membrane preparation, membrane technology application, carbon dioxide emission reduction and scientific research methods.
