1. Recruitment requirements
In addition to the basic requirements of the National Teachers’ law and university regulations, the applicants should also meet the following conditions:
(a) For lecturers
1) The applicant should has obtained a PhD degree from famous universities/research institutes at home or abroad, and is willing to work full-time.
2) The applicant should have outstanding achievements in relevant academic fields, and the potential to become academic backbone.
3) The age of applicants for science, engineering, medicine, economics and management is generally less than 32 years old. Applicants for humanities and social sciences are not more than 35 years old.
(b) For associate professors
1) The applicant should has obtained a PhD degree from famous universities/research institutes at home or abroad, and is willing to work full-time.
2) Two or more years of experience after obtaining PhD degree, or 12 months or more of study and work experience overseas.
3) The applicant should have outstanding achievements in relevant academic fields, and the potential to become academic backbone.
4) The age of applicants for science, engineering, medicine, economics and management is generally less than 35 years old. Applicants for humanities and social sciences are not more than 40 years old.
(c) For professors
1) The applicant should has obtained a PhD degree and is willing to work full-time.
2) The applicant should have high academic attainments and obtain recognized achievements of both domestic and foreign peers.
3) Applicants are normally not more than 45 years old.
2. Hiring methods and treatment
(a) For lecturers
1) The applicants will sign a hiring contract with a first term of employment of 3 years. In the first term of employment, the applicant should be promoted to accociate professor, otherwise, the university reserves the right to terminate the employment. The associate professor has 3 years’ engagement, and the outstanding candidate is transferred to long-term employment.
2) The basic yearly salary is 120,000 yuan.
3) The university provides 30,000 yuan for family allowance, 40,000-100,000 yuan for scientific research star-up and corresponding office conditions.
4) The applicant can rent a university apartment or enjoy monthly rental subsidies.
5) The applicant enjoy equal treatment in children admission.
(b) For associate professor
1) The applicants will sign a hiring contract with a first term of employment of 3 years. The outstanding candidate is transferred to long-term employment.
2) The basic yearly salary is 180,000 yuan.
3) The university provides 60,000 yuan for family allowance, 60,000-150,000 yuan for scientific research star-up.
4) The applicant can rent a university apartment or enjoy monthly rental subsidies.
5) The applicant enjoy equal treatment in children admission.
(c) For professor
1) Long-term employment.
2) The university provides 70,000-120,000 yuan for family allowance, 120,000-300,000 yuan for scientific research star-up. The applicant also enjoy the national wages, benefits, allowances and policy of children admission.
3) The applicant can rent a university apartment or enjoy monthly rental subsidies.
