Specially funded postdoctoral
On the basis of the key research bases of the state/provincial/ministerial, or the team undertaking national major demand tasks, PhD graduates from the top 100 universities (overseas) or other superexcellent candidates are recruited as the specially funded postdoctoral.
Full-time research postdoctoral
On the basis of the school’s research platform, PhD graduates with obvious achievements in relevant academic fields are recruited as the full-time research postdoctoral.
Foreign postdoctoral
On the basis of the Silk Road University Alliance, outstanding foreign PhD graduates are recruited as the foreign postdoctoral.
Enterprise funded postdoctoral
On the basis of the cooperation platform established by schools, government and enterprises, applicants enroll in an enterprise-school joint recruitment, and will be supported to conduct enterprise research project.
Basic requirements
(1) The candidates should have the PhD degree from famous universities or research institutes at home or abroad, and usually not more than 35 years old.
(2) The candidates should have certain scientific research ability and achievements, and the potential to become and academic backbone, being suitable for scientific research.
(3) The candidates should have at least 1 first author paper being published at the “most influential” journals; or at least 2 first author papers, SCI index; or significant engineering capability (recognized)
Notes: The second author paper with the tutor being the first author is regarded as the first author paper. The most influential journals refers to those being included in the International Journal List published by the Graduate School of Xi’an Jiaotong University.
Salary and other benefits
For specially funded post doctoral, the annual income is no less than 330,000 Yuan.
For foreign post doctoral, the annual income is no less than 210,000 Yuan.
For full-time research post doctoral, the minimum wage varies from 160,000 to 210,000, according to the subject.
For enterprise funded postdoctoral, the annual income standard is determined by the enterprise and/or the supervisor.
All post-doctors are provided with social insurance and housing provident fund for postdoctoral researcher (Purchasing commercial medical insurance for foreign and Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan postdoctor), apartment during the period of working and children admission treatment.
Other provisions
The post doctoral fellow will be subject to the contract administration, being identified as assistant research fellow. Normally, the post doctoral duration is 2 years, which could be extended according to the research task. Outstanding persons could be appointed as formal teachers or researchers when they leave the station.
